Please be careful this week!

There will be several festive occassions this week. Lots of your friends and neighbors will be drinking excessively and letting their wives drive, so be careful.

Best damn advice on this site in years!

Speaking of which, a little FYI. Many local and State law enforcement agencies have been stopping cars because one of the bulbs lighting the license plate is burned out. State law requires two bulbs illuminating the plate to be seen for a distance of 50 feet. The stop is a legit reason (if not ticky-tack). During the holidays we know law enforcement is on the look out for motorists. Check your bulbs if you don't want to be stopped.

Also be careful around dimbulbs...they'll get you for that too!!!!

I just did a safety meeting for my crew at work on this before Christmas break. Montana is #1 in highway fatalities of all 50 states. Sure...we have more roads, bigger area, bad weather, etc. But, also a higher tolerance for drinking and driving. Great reminder, Cat-UM...thanks for posting!!

Also, driving after safety meetings isn't good thinking.....

You're SO right, Allez...EXACTLY why I sat and contemplated it over a bottle of wine before finally driving home.
