Playoff Ticket Revenue

My understanding is that the NCAA sets prices for playoff tickets. Does that mean they receive all the ticket revenue for 26,000+ tickets sold at Washington Griz? Do we still get all the revenue from concessions, tailgating, etc.?

The NCAA takes their share that was agreed upon during the bid process, and we do get revenue beyond expenses after that. However, I doubt there will be 26,000 tickets sold for the first game. We usually have between 13-16k for early games like this. The fact this game isn’t on Thanksgiving weekend and is a night game will bump it up some. I don’t think we will match the attendance numbers from 2021 against EWU which was 24,000. I don’t think the NCAA gets the revenue from vendors as it’s not part of the guaranteed bid.

Corrrect. Kent said last year that they always bid all the way up to the championship game.
