Playoff projections

Here's my biggest concern ( wrote this in another thread):

You know what COULD happen? USD could get the 2 seed, pushing the Griz to #3. They have one more loss than the Griz but it was to FBS #11 Missouri. Their only FCS loss was to SDSU, and they also have a stronger SOS. The committee could see that as a stronger resume than Montana and they would have a point. Except, SDSU murdered USD 37-3 at home only 3 weeks ago. I'm probably overthinking it and worrying too much.
USD at 2 will be disappointing but fair. However we have a wild card. Haslam is on the committee ensuring that we get everything and the cats get nothing. I was told he locked the rest of the committee outside to set the bracket.

This is assuming the committee will award them for winning the CAA.
2 semi close FBS losses, 1 FCS loss and a win over a seeded Nova team, all in a 12 game season(9-3).

That bonus game due to playing Hawaii is a huge boost for them. The Danes have had a good season and I believe the committee will reward them appropriately.

Yes, Albany owns the H2H but I actually think Albany taking that extra loss gives Nova the advantage. 9-2 looks prettier than 9-3 when SOS is similar (although edge to Nova since they played 3 of the top 5 CAA teams while Albany favorably only played 1 of the top 5 CAA). Plus, Villanova won the auto and has been ranked higher throughout the season in the polls, which the committee uses as a resource.

 generated by some Sports Illustrated idiot that has never been inside two FCS stadiums in his/her life and just looks at W/L records.

Montana state beats Albany, Villanova, Furman like a rented Mule, and should have won at Moscow.

Sports Illustrated seedings prediction:

1. South Dakota State (11-0, 8-0 MVFC)
2. Montana (10-1, 7-1 Big Sky)
3. South Dakota (9-2, 7-1 MVFC)
4. UAlbany (9-3, 7-1 CAA)
5. Idaho (8-3, 6-2 Big Sky)
6. Villanova (9-2, 7-1 CAA)
7. Furman (9-2, 7-1 SoCon)
8. North Dakota State (8-3, 5-3 MVFC)

No Cats.
The bubcats are a good team, and that win in WA Griz yesterday was significant.

We have 4 ranked wins and three that were over top 10 teams. Two over top 5.

I could see the cats not in top 8, but maybe hosting. I don't understand how their strength of schedule is better than Griz, just due to the SDSU game?

Not sure how committee is going to get many bus trips for the first round?

Surprised the bubs got #6, but no surprises in the 8 teams.

The announcers talked about a replay of the brawl in the playoffs but the only way that happens is the championship game.
