Does it really matter .... gotta win them all to be the champion!

Does playing at home usually matter for the Griz?

This year... not so much.

That is why I used the word "usually" :coffee:

Good Point.... I guess the point I'm trying to make is that most of the great coach's usually follow the adage of "I don't care who we play, but how we play". Destiny is created by what you can control not what you can't. That said I do like home field advantage!

So biggest teams left out:
Northern Arizona
Towson (How does UNH get in after getting drubbed by them at home?)
Eastern Kentucky
Richmond

The UNH selection is by far the biggest head scratcher. I don't have a problem with the Stony Brook pick.
I'm with you, on the UNH selection. UNH did not just lose to Towson, they got annihilated.

My early thought ... that the CP-NAU game was a "loser stays home" matchup ... turned out to be correct. Too bad. :(
At least they did ignore Lehigh's ten wins against nothing opponents

Can't wait to see you lay an egg at home and lose to an inferior team! You players and coaches are alright, it's just that your fanbase is full of douchebags, more than any other school in the FCS!

I get that EWU won the head to head game vs MSU but that's pretty surprising to me that EWU gets the 2 seed over MSU.

It boiled down to the head-to-head matchup. How can you not reward the team that beat the other on the road.

If that's the case, explain how UNH got in after getting beat at home just yesterday by Towson, 64 - 35. I mean, just killed at home. The committee released a very hypocritical playoff bracket today.

My guess, 8-3 is better than 7-4

Stony Brook and South Dakota State were the last two in according the the committee.
Stony Brook got beat by two TD's by Liberty last week. I would assume that Villanova should handle Stony Brook on the road and be the Bobcats first round opponent on December 1st.
Villanova just hammered Delaware on the road yesterday.
Go Griz!

NDSU has GREAT fans if you want douchebags look to EWU those front running ass clowns are fu*king unbearable.

One of them is gonna get slapped in the face the next time he comes to Missoula.

Too bad they stuffed all of the Big Sky into one side of the bracket. Sorry Jerome and the Lumberjacks are out (though understandable). Also sorry to see they scheduled MSU for a 5:00 pm kickoff on December 1st. Someone should tell them that it gets cold in Bozo after dark in December.

NDSU's #1 seed should get them at least into the semis.
EWU's #2 seed should get them one win. Doubt they get a second.
MSU's #3 seed should make for an interesting quarterfinal with either SHSU or Poly.

If it shakes out like I expect someone will get an unexpected home semi-final game. That is either MSU (if they don't choke during the first two), or Appalachian State (if MSU does choke). That's right, you read it here first. :ugeek:

But 10-1 isn't better than 9-2? That's my point. If you give EWU the 2 seed, then Towson should be in over UNH. If you put UNH in, then MSU should be the 2 seed.

The committee has always had inconsistencies, but never such glaring inconsistency in the same year's playoff field as this time around.
