Look at the date stamp on the tweets you posted. It was fresh then. Now it is stale.

Anything more recent? No?.
Please, don't start. I was just answering a question.

There was a thread, or the substantial part of a thread, on Player reactions to Gregorak's departure, and Legi's as well, mostly Twitter feed, but there was a lot of it.
Aaaannnnndddd.....how did it go?
And I thank you for the answer, 75. Appreciate you pulling that together.

There was a tweet by Kidder as well that didn't get posted here, posted the day the Gregorak hire was made:

[tweet]https://twitter.com/ckidder_37/status/676471068681375744[/tweet]

I think there also a tweet that a player had, maybe Kidder, which I can't find anymore, one of those, "Once a Griz, always a Griz, once a Cat, always a....."

I think the OP's question wasn't so much at the time of the hire but how are they feeling now? If that's the case from those I've talked with I've heard good things. The design is more complex, the defensive coaches are very different in their approach and the players like it. There seems to be attention to some details that wasn't given before. "Us vs them" by way of defense vs offense or upperclassmen vs underclassmen isn't supported anymore. Team unity appears to be at a high point, despite how many new faces are on the roster.

For those of you with inside information etc. I am wanting to know how the players feel about Gregorak leaving? What about our former DL coach?
Social media showed that players were looking to Legi when Gregorak announced he was leaving, as though they expected him to step up... or go with Ty? I was puzzled by that at the time as no one mentioned Semore.

There was a disconnect there between what the players were saying and what egriz subsequently "decided" who was "really" in charge of the D. Then another round of disappointments when Legi left.

Keep posting 75. You may eventually convince someone of something.

Keep posting yourself; I am sure, based on your experience and success, you can derail yet another thread with petty antics, snide remarks, and irrelevant ad hominem attacks. You're just that good. At least at something.

At least I have something to hang my hat on I guess. If you work harder, you may to someday feel as accomplished.

now now now...you're both AWESOME at arguing with one another....

In November, Wally posted about coach Gregorak... "He gets what it means to be a Grizzly. He hates the cats."

Guess time heals hate.

Of course, "being a Grizzly," meant actually ... being one, and being pushed out that door kind of changed the perspective. Loyalty is a two-way street, right?

Yeah, attacking players online with an anonymous handle is quite an achievement, big man.

I attacked no one. Everything I said was based on fact. I have no ill will towards the kid. He made his own decisions and ultimately did not like the consequences. He may have learned a lesson, but we will see how things work out wherever he goes.

November of 2014, before the Stitt hire, minor detail.

Nope, you frequently attack, very unfairly and without anything to back up what you say. You are a loser.

Thanks for chiming in Jack. Two peas in a pod, you and 75.

To answer the OP, the returning players already had an awesome connection with Semore. He was respected the minute he stepped foot into the program. They use words like smart, aggressive and fun to describe him. I know a lot of the departing guiys thought highly of him too. While Stitt and Gregorak didn't get along, and Stitt favored Semore, it didn't mean the players who loved and were loyal to Gregorak thought badly of Semore. Semore didn't have anything to do with what happened to Ty, that was Stitt's decision. Had things been different between Ty and Stitt, and Ty was still the DC, Semore would still be here this upcoming season, working his ass off as part of the defensive staff. He has already developed a deep, deep love affair for Griz football after just one season.
