Players on offense to watch this Saturday

Not specific to the offense, but I like the new concept the team is going with for the Spring Game this year. Having two separate teams instead of offense vs defense should provide for a fun and intense scrimmage.

So staying on the trend of the offense, the biggest concerns I see:

3. Gus's shorter passes and overthrowing. Still spraying them more than a senior/returning starter QB should. Also has some consistency issues, missed a few open targets with high passes on Saturday.

And there it is.
Yup, the inconsistency has always bothered me. You never really know what's going to happen once the ball is launched.

I should say it's much improved over last year, Gus looks and acts the part of a senior QB - he just has lapses where he falls into my brought up concern. Additionally he has command and understanding of the offense

head and shoulders over Chalich and Phillips.

it really sounds to me like we have three very good qbs and the reason gus is number one is his intelligence......selle and stitt talk about "getting it", gus just gets it better than anyone else,,,,,gus has been and is a very good student in the class room and it may be that is more important important in this offense than anything else (arm and running ability)......our new qb recruits better be very bright in the future....imo

With this new format giving us a game like atmosphere, as a fan, should I be in game mode also? If so, we need to get organized, people!

I'm going to the liquor store.

Yes, but those lapses really cost the team last year. That 2nd NDSU game was painful watching him throw the ball without even looking...pick 6. Here is to leaving last year right where it is and moving on. I wonder what kind of leash Stitt will give Brady....

When the music stops....at that point start paying attention. I have been preaching about coach Stitt and his ability to coach after I first met the guy. A big change will be noted this coming season VS last year. Like I said when it becomes silent it's about to blow wide open!

A damn good Griz team is coming along.

Please don't talk to me like that...it's only April! I have 4 months to then think about things like this...
