Believe it or not his hudl says 4.6, but that dude looks way faster than that on some of these recent Twitter videos. That 4.6 was from an older hudl profile so I'm guessing he's faster now.... not that 4.6 is slow for a quarterback by any means that's blazing

Watching the scrimmage Friday, he kind of reminds me of JJ but with a bit stronger arm...or maybe not necessarily stronger, but just throws the ball with more zip than JJ did.

That says a lot as JJ had a pretty strong arm really. Still love that guy. I'm really hoping Sneed can find some accuracy that's where JJ was solid

Agreed - maybe in the end their arm strength is the same and JJ just made more use of putting touch on the ball. Impossible really to compare - but Sneed reminded me quite a bit of JJ in how he moved around.

My money is on JLM.

I'm not sure how JLM isn't open/passed to a lot more than he is. He is fast and ridiculously shifty--if the routes are well-designed and unpredictable, and he runs good routes, he should be open a lot. Either he's just too hard to spot as open because of his size or the routes were not designed/disguised/run well enough, is all I can think.

I personally think that JLM is a good punt returner cause he's good in the open field when he has the ball. When it comes to running routes, that's a different story. He's has a hard time getting separation between him and the defender and when he does get the ball thrown to him he gets tackled immediately.

I am sure JLM will get his fair share of touches to impact games. JLM reminds of Segers and Heidelberger. The GRIZ made a point to utilize these guys in the offense and return game. It will be interesting to see how the GRIZ big WR's are implemented. I don't recall the GRIZ having as many good to great sized WR's with Hauck the 1st time. He now has terrific depth and size at WR. I just hope our offense utilizes their size on key downs and the redzone. Let these guys make plays!!!

Pretty solid comparison especially on rolls outs or when a play breaks down. He has speed but is always looking down field and if something comes open he can deliver the ball. His ability to throw the ball with velocity in awkward positions on the move is impressive. That's all footwork.

But..... Jensen is making plays too.

I totally believe he runs 4.6+ something (if not 4,7+). Which is very fast, and flat-out flying for a QB.

Toure and Akem will be the feature guys in my opinion. It sounds like Akem is having a solid spring, which makes me think that he’s embracing the change in culture and he will excel. Toure is clutch and plays with a lot of attitude.

I think Calhoun and JLM will be consistent players that will thrive off defenses having to respect Akem and Toure as deep threats.

Mitch Roberts is my pick to break into the rotation and make some noise. All in all this is a deep, talented group.

I certainly hope Akem will flourish and play at a very high level. So far though he seems a bit raw. He doesn't play smooth and last year I was disappointed he didn't make more contested catches or 50/50 balls.

WRs may be talented, but too many drops. Maybe they can get them dialed in by fall. Akem gets a bit distracted with contact on contested 50/50 balls. Flowers may be the break out player at this position. The tall WRs seem to let the ball get to their body and are not using hands. The big WRs could learn a lot from Bingham he has great WR skills and uses his length to his advantage. WRs are good blockers and can break tackles good group of different skills. JLM is a level above the rest.

I'd agree, Sneed throws the ball with more zip, JJ had great touch on his ball. They both moved around very well, Sneed is way faster in my opinion, he has another gear and is very shifty. Two plays stood out to me when he scored in the South end zone, he set the defender up with an inside juke and was untouched. When they blew the play dead, he darted through the line, one cut and was gone, no one was even close to touching or catching him.
