What is the best place to watch the Griz/EWO game in Phoenix. I have to travel for work and won't make it in person!

R T O'Sullivans in Mesa on Stapely off the 60. Much better than Dukes in Scottsdale. Lots of Griz fans and good food.

Dukes in Scottsdale, off Miller & McDowell. Much better than R T O'Sullivans in Mesa. Lots of Griz fans and good food.

Dukes. Al McCarthy and his daughter own it. Al lived in Helena and Missoula and is always there. He'll know you or someone you know....and will want to visit. One room set aside for an always large group of Griz fans. Great time.

O'Sullivans didn't have the game last week, and Dukes did.......

Thank you for posting this. I'm in PHX this weekend and because of this post I headed over to Dukes to watch the game. There is a fair amount of Griz fans here and we are in our own area.

Didn't miss a game there for 20 years. Wish there was a place like that in San Antonio....

I loved Dukes when I lived in Phoenix. Used to play 18 holes of disc golf, as they are right on Shelley Sharpe course, and then watch the Griz play. Al was always fired up for the games.

You are somewhat right, they had the Internet stream but is was a very poor picture and it buffered all the time. It was the same for the Idaho State game so we left and went home and watched on Big Sky TV which worked very well. For the next two games which are on Root Sports R T's will carry them in HD. I understand the attraction to Dukes because of Al and his daughter who are great peaple, however I have heard although I have never been there for Griz-cat, that it gets so over capacity that some folks get turned away. So if you are going to Dukes you might want to get there early. At R T's they will have a nice crowd with both Griz and cat fans. They put Griz fans in one section and cat fans get there own little area. For the last 2 years we have had our own trail of tears starting in the 3rd quarter very fun to watch. The U M Alum will be there and have some goodies to hand out.

Yes. Get there early. They start giving out wristbands about 9:30, but people begin lining up about 8:30. Limited by the fire marshal because of complaints from the other businesses in that strip mall. It blows away RT O'Sullivans as far as atmosphere, though.
