Pflugrads Retained at NAU

This is what I heard. Robin as associate head coach. Aaron as OC.

This is all I could find looking quickly online:

"It is unclear what Pflugrad’s new role will be, but sources have confirmed that he will remain on staff along with his son, Lumberjacks offensive coordinator Aaron Pflugrad, and tight ends and running backs coach Jimmy Beal."

The Pflu's and Beal are the only assistant coaches remaining on the NAU football website, altho each have only their bio from last season.

I see that Bruce Read was on NAU staff as special teams coach prior to the Head coaching change. Last I saw was that position still open.
To bad for Bruce. Hopefully he lands another job someplace.

There doesn't seem to be a DC mentiond in the article, which is from Jan. 23.

I see a DC mentioned in the article. Someone named Jerry Partridge from Delta State

You are correct. Missed that. Thx.

Was hoping Pflu would get the HC job. His re-arrival to the BSC will have to wait a little longer. I just hope I live long enough to see his return to the BSC, and how someone shouting, "Pflugrad is back!" would cause vapor lock to Engstrom, lying on his death bed like Long Shanks in "Braveheart" when long tortured Wallace shouts "Freedom!" My mind wanders.

I laughed at your post and it was a good one. The only assault that occurred on the UM campus was against Pflu by Engstrom and the athletic Dept. He was robbed of his hard earned position and career. I wish him nothing but the best of success. Hate to see NAU beat the Griz, but I sure as hell hope they pound every other BSC team and he becomes a head coach again.

This is the first I have heard about the assault on Pflugrad by the athletic department. I would love to hear more about this.

Well then pull your head out and do some reading on the history of what happened. It becomes pretty apparent

I like the way our coaching staff shaped up...

Aaron was a GA for Ball at Arizona State for two years. He knows how good of a coach and how hard Aaron works. Probably took him about two seconds to realize Robin will help them immensely on offense as well.

I believe Jimmy Beal was the RBs and TEs coach previously. Wonder if he took a paycut to stay on staff.

Probably not, since he added the title of Director of Football Operations.
