5-2 at worst. 6-1 is very likely.
I don't see us blowing the big leads in both the NAU and EWU game like we did.
I don't see us ...doing whatever the f*** happened during the SUU game. I really don't see that punt debacle happening..that's for sure.
Probably would've still lost to App State.
I love how all these what-if analyses rest on the premise that the games would go exactly the same with Pflugrad or Delaney as the coach, and then at the moment when the games turn, all of a sudden Pflugrad would have had the team perform in a better and winning way.
Of course the game wouldn't have gone the same, and in fact we may not have been in the situations at all. Maybe we blow out those teams, maybe we get blown out (doubtful). This is all what-if scenarios obviously and just based on opinions of the posters who have watched teams under both coaches.
Do you think that Pflu would kick off to begin both halves? Do you think that punt defense would've been used in the SUU game? Do you think we would've given up the leads to NAU and EWU by going into an offensive shell due to the play calling? Not going to list all the other wtf moments...
Those weren't issues with the players not playing well, those were issues with the coaching decisions that directly cost us points and very likely cost us at least a couple games so far this year.
That's why I find this thread semi-interesting. I don't see the same types of mistakes being made by Pflu in his 3rd year coaching, especially after the end of last season and how the Griz offense was rolling. As soon as we got a little lead we didn't take our foot off the gas back then.
