He’s a 6’5 205 lbs 3 star kid who had 9 other offers. Great pick up!

Wonder how his knee is feeling. I thought grayshirts couldn't "announce", so I'm wondering also if he isn't on a grayshirt deal?

“...covering the nation’s No. 1 wide receiver recruit in the class of 2021, Steilacoom High School’s Emeka Egbuka.

“This kid’s(Egbuka) got offers from Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Ohio State and Notre Dame, and Peyton is covering him one-on-one for the first three quarters and shut him down,” Steele said. “He broke his foot early in the fourth quarter, and we didn’t have anybody that could cover that kid and he went off. But that’s the kind of player Peyton is. He’s not just a wide receiver. He can play football.

If he's THAT good defensively, let's hope Bobby puts him on the correct side of the ball. Those types don't come along very often (and typically don't like to play in cold weather). 8-)

If you read the article, it's clear they are building a TE. They project him to be a big kid.

Well that sounds like a damned shame. As we know, good CB's don't grow on trees. :D :D

Nor do they grow to 230, which this kid is most certain to.

Hope that all goes well with the rehab. Kid has the potential to be an incredible difference maker.

Sounds like the makings of a kick-ass safety. :D
