Scroll down into the mailbag section. Oh, and watch the JFF Vine, it's hilarious.

Seattle Times Prediction of final 53

LINEBACKER

Keep: Bobby Wagner, K.J. Wright, Malcolm Smith, Brock Coyle, Mike Morgan, Kevin Pierre-Louis.

Cut: Heath Farwell, Jackson Jeffcoat, Horace Miller, Marcus Dowtin.

Comment: Bruce Irvin and Korey Toomer are each on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list, and either or both could begin the season there, which would help ease the immediate log jam at a pretty crowded spot. Coyle has been the surprise of camp and for now appears to have gotten the backup MLB role ahead of Farwell.

It is great that Brock and the Montana Football program is getting more notice!

That said, the apparent bias against FCS school players seems to always creep in with many comments about FCS players... Brock is bigger and heavier than the starter Bobby Wagner, was one of the best performing Combine/Pro Day inside linebackers in the 2014 draft and if you check out the size of the top 10, bigger in height and weight than most of them...

Maybe once Mr. King watches Brock's speed and solid tackles in the 2 pre season games, watches his highlight reel from Montana, or reviews his Pro Day stats, he will "update" his expert opinion.

Facts and film tell the real story, but a mention in the main stream sports media is still great and King is one of the best.

Sorry, maybe over sensitive, but always protective of the Griz program and players!

I don't see his current opinion as incorrect...not sure what there is to "update" currently

Not sure, but I think BITB was referring to King's comments about Coyle's size.

Peter King does that all the time with small school players, even when giving them compliments. I dont know why. It's dumb.

I remember a write-up he did on Biermann where de did the same thing.

fair enough, PK subjectively thought he looked smaller than listed, and than Wagner, in his personal visit to the VMAC. Seems like alot about nothing.

Experts offering opinions in the face of facts that tell another story, should never be accepted at face value, especially when they have to do with an individual athlete.
Most people today are getting tired of public and media pundits spouting their blow holes with more spin than substance.
Just saying...

Yes, but Kroy was small compared to the DEs he was drafted to play beside. He was definitely not as big as John Abraham was.

Once again, you are getting all worked up over nothing. PK went to a practice, meaning he was there first hand, and he thought Coyle looked smaller than what is listed...so what.

Yes, Kroy is smaller than Abraham. That wat not my point. My point was that Peter King is typically not sold on "small school" talent, and in some of his analysis he conveniently knocks off inches and pounds. I think he likes the "Rudy" type of theme.

That is all I was saying.
