Well, Zirg, you, and for that matter all the other self-righteous posters on this site as well, should say that to his face. A recent picture was posted on google so you know what he looks like. Wouldn't want you to man-up to the wrong guy. Mano a Mano. He shouldn't be too hard to find. Helena ain't LA. Let us know how it turns out.

If your including me in that “self-righteous” group, all I’m saying is that if he really physically abused his wife, he should face the consequences. Growing up with a dad who abused my mom, I know how mentally harmful this can be for children. Do you not agree that if he’s physically abusing his wife, he should be stopped? Unfortunately though, like it many situations like this, she’ll not press charges and he’ll walk and the abuse will usually continue. If the allegations are true and I had the opportunity to, I’d be more then happy to tell him to his face how much damage the abuse does to his wife and child.

While NOT talking about the Petek situation, would your view change if the woman punches and bites the guy first after he tries to look at her phone, or something like that? I'm just probing to see if your view changes. Taking facts from charging docs, which were filed before even talking to the accused, is just not the way to discern all the important facts of the situation. As 77 said, there are a lot of self-righteous posters on the board. I would add ignorant to the the self-righteous description.

Generally speaking, it might. If the woman could physically beat the man’s ass cus maybe she’s 6’4” and 240 pounds and he’s 5’3” and a buck 20, yes, that’d change my mind. Then I’d say she needs to go to jail for spousal abuse. Also, if she’s punching and biting, remove yourself and call the cops. Again, she’d go to jail for that. Bite marks are obvious evidence. Don’t physically abuse them back. In most cases though, most men can physically dominate their female spouse’s and physical abuse like pulling hand fulls of hair or possibly worse are not necessary.

Curious. Were the guys he annihilated the same size? You know the old adage about picking on someone your own size. Not bashing, honestly curious.

He destroyed dudes of all shapes and sizes, but I never saw him picking on smaller people if that's what you mean. He wasn't the type to start a fight, but was always more than game to finish one. He was definitely one of the best street fighters that I ever personally witnessed. Heavy hands and very agile for his size as he was a former heavyweight state champion wrestler.

I was on the receiving end of more than one ass-kicking by his older brother Bill. Young Andy always seemed to be around somewhere making mental notes. Of course, Andy grew up to be twice the badass, which is truly saying something. Bill died in an accident in I believe the 90s, and I know that must've had a tremendous effect on his little brother. Andy will be just fine.

Later on, Bill and I were friendly.

RIP Billy

Edit: It was 2001, he was 30.

My view changes zero. It is very hard for me to imagine a situation where I would pull a females hair from her scalp, or smash her phone. I also don't distribute cocaine, or have a deferred sentence for other "incidents."

It's not hard to be a good human.

You can't even live up to that standard on egriz. You are a hypocrite.

Another wedding last night, and more name-dropping. My wife and I sat next to Steve Riddle and his wife. It was fun talking about the Mission Mountain Wood Band, and all the stuff they had done. Retta Mary parties at Flathead. Bucks T-4 at New Years. Playing all the big clubs in NYC, especially in the Village. I was living in NYC then. Playing with many big name bands. Becoming adopted by the Hells Angels, which eventually goofed up their playing at venues. They did a big Hells Angels Party in New York, with the Jerry Garcia Band and Bo Diddley, in the early 70s. A couple million miles on their touring bus. Steve's a big Griz fan too.

I was at the party Mission Mountain was playing at when they crashed.

A large group of Hells Angels started attending all of their concerts, and scaring off normal people.

We talked about the crash too. I saw the large plume of smoke as we drove down the east side of lake to Bigfork. Tell us more about the party.

They were playing at a high school friend, DM's cabin at lakeside. They left and I guess decided to buzz the party as a thank you and crashed.

We were at the family cabin that night on Grinde Bay. We could hear all the sirens going to the crash. I still remember my high school fight song word for word almost 30 years after graduation which was wrote by Steve Riddle.

And they were on way to another gig in Idaho.

First, I was not one of the responding officers who interviewed both parties or any otjher 'witnesses.' I am not the supervising officer who collected and read the reports. I am not the prosecutor who has all the reports at his fingertips. I am not Mr. Petek's lawyer. Conjecture, innuendo, and supposition is the entire basis for many posters remarks. Google these words, read the definitions. Some of you have it backwards. Its not 'hang him, then try him, then charge him.' Let it play out, then when all the facts are known, y'all can be self-righteous.
I, too, grew up with an abusive father. He popped my mother in my presence when I was a young adult. Bad mistake, He never did that again.

And what would happen if he did? Would Petek be a "tough guy" because he is incapable of using his words? I don't understand posts like this, are you just wanting to see the real Petek lose his temper and beat the shi7 out of yet another person, hence validating the perception he has earned for himself?

I can't help what YOU can't understand...
Maybe you could look back at your ACT/SAT English comprehension score. Just a suggestion.

I don’t think the reading comprehension was a problem. It was trying to comprehend what your intent to the post was. I was a little confused also why in most your posts, you’ve been defending the defense of Petek but then in this last post, it seems you’d be expecting for Peter to respond violently to Fahque. So are you defending his violent responses then? Please clarify.

In many cases when the educated can’t understand the educator, it’s the message delivery(from you) that is at fault.
