Strahm is a walking 15 yard penalty.....

Most intimidating, smack-talking, physical player on ST and defense - the guy made all an all-conference team for his special teams play.

Needs to find a balance though, plays beyond the echo of the whistle and it seems the refs were looking for him today. I love the way he plays, he's going to be the badass enforcer in the middle of the field next season.

I think he can be all that and still be smart though. Grizindabox is spot on, this kid gets a personal foul or two a game. At some point, you've got to be smart.
I mentioned on another thread that he seems to be acting as if this is his coming out party for next year and he is putting the Big Sky on notice. He better be all World next year for as many penalties he has gotten.

I don't see Strahm thinking or doing that all. I think he's trying to be an all-out mad man on special teams and sort of trying to be the Griz' version of an enforcer in hockey. I doubt when he's running a 100 miles an hour down the field on a kickoff the first thing on his mind is "I have to make Beau Baldwin remember me even though we don't play Eastern Washington again until Sept. 20, 2016." If anything, he's trying to prove something to his own teammates and coaches, not opponents he won't even see for almost a full year yet.

The penalty on Robert Luke #75 was legit. He rode his man ten yards behind the line of scrimmage and planted him and kept humpin' him even after the whistle. I like it. This guy is a beast at center and is only a sophomore. That's DOLA. He'll get smarter as he matures but you gotta love the mean attitude and persistence in not giving up on his block. It is demoralizing when you are getting trucked that badly.

Agreed. But there's a fine line between DOLA and stupidity. Not calling Luke stupid....seems like he might have watched some JD Quinn video... :D :D

I was sitting with Levi Horn. He thought it was the play of the game. Ha.
