Pease to make $345,000

i believe Florida still has to pay the difference between his contract there and what he makes at UW. I think he had 1 or 2 years left.

345,000 a year.

Rough life Pease lives. Not sure that I could manage on roughly 20,000 a month, might have to cut back. They say college athletics doesn't pay.

Is a bit sobering that a recently fired college OC can find work for that amount. He is quickly becoming Dennis Erickson-like. Refuses to die, just keeps finding new places to work.

I know this isn't extensive...these are the ones that I can think of now...

His resume looks no different than 95% of position/coordinator coaches out there.

Az,

Yeah, just boggles the mind. Knowing a few in the profession, you'll take any position you can get because it might be the last one you get. I know some guys who aren't in the profession anymore because while capable it is difficult to find the type of work that actually pays the bills. Outside of D1 and a handful of DII and NAIA schools, life as an assistant doesn't pay well.

They loved Pease in Boise, and Peterson was the right coach for him, which is probably why he took that job in a heartbeat. For as high strung as Pease is, though he has mellowed a bit, Peterson is calm and sedate as a college coach could be. A good fit.

UW announces assistant coaches salaries.

And Jonathon Smith will have a base of $425,000 as OC. Good for him. What was he making as the Griz OC his last year here?
