It sounds like he has been doing great in practice from this quote from head coach Mike Macdonald. “We have an ongoing joke on our ready squad that we can’t block Patty on a daily basis,” Macdonald said. “I’m glad he had his opportunity today… he went out and played winning football for us and made some great plays.”

This is the opportunity he needed. If he can continue to play well, he will get a an active roster contract and playing time either with Seattle or another team. Nice that his coach talked about how he had been practicing. Other GM’s read that too.
