pat white or armanti edwards?

regardless, my impression is still that edwards is quicker, a better thrower, and makes better decisions. did you see how far off many of white's passes were last night? i'm not sure of their completion percentages, but i bet edwards was about 10% higher. i'll go check.

Right on...I watched them both several times this season.

I would take Armanti in this style of offense over about anybody...maybe even the Heisman.

This kid is something else.

:twocents:

I did check, they're identical 66.7%

Edwards trumps white in most other stats, passing yards, rushing yards, TDs, etc. But as I explained before I think White has proven himself against better opponents time and time again.

Also White's a bigger guy, 6-2 190 than Edwards, 5-11 165, that's not a huge factor. Also Edwards is a goofy looking dude.

argh, you asked a question and stated your view. And most probably respect your answer. There really is no "WRONG" answer as both are fantastic athletes.

Just because someone doesn't pick "your guy" doesn't make them a bad person. Quit the "brain dead" comments, phuck.

Is argh short for "Argue"?

Oh, and I'll take White. :thumb:

i didn't call remax a 'bad person', i just said his comment came off as brain dead. and i also qualified my remark by saying that i'm an expert in making brain dead comments myself.

in other words, i was responding to what i perceived as a lack of solid reasoning by remax to backup his choice of picking white.

oh, i also make dumb reading/interpretation mistakes that result in me making neat comments like yours (above). when i do so, i usually catch it and edit them out, but not always.

My 1st response was typed too quick anyways, maybe not braindead but rushed. Did my follow up make more sense and seem less brain dead?

I don't think you can count edwards out. Against Michigan he, and other App players, were just as fast or faster than the Michigan players.

If Michigan overlooked App, they only did it for about 1 quarter. After that they knew they were in a dogfight and could not shake the Mountaineers. Heck, if their receivers make some easy catches, they are up 38-17 late in the 3rd. App had the athletes to compete with Michigan and Edwards held his own just fine.

I will take Edwards because I think he is the better passer while he and White are equal running the ball.

yes - i wrote as much in my response. while i understand the premise of your argument, and think that it holds true a lot of the time, in this case i just happen to disagree. i'm sure we can both live with that!

heck, i can even live with what's his name calling me a "phuck". its amazing how much one can deal with when it comes to relatively meaningless message boards!

True, that description would read.

A cement block footed non cerebral QB that throws bullets into the opposing defenses chest, back, hands and helmets.

Thank god he was only here one year, it was too long as it was.

I may get flack for this statement, but I honestly believe the Griz in 2006 would have made it to Chatty with Bergquist as QB.

I definitely agree.

You won't get any flack from me, only support because your right.
