Hard to see the Griz side line in this one and the feed was late because of the earlier game.
I've saw 52 Griz on the field.
The participation report (a fanciful document at best); lists Deck, J.Ramos, and Mata'afa. Deck might have been on the opening play if Bergen returned the opening kick off, that has happened before this season. I saw Ramos and Mata'afa on the side line but not on the field. There was something unusual in this one, on our kick off team the man playing wide left was wearing 36, Graves was inside him wearing 5. On the return team Graves wears 36 because Bergen is 5 but this guy was definitely not Bergen. ????
I have Deck, Williams, Vidlak, Ah Yat, T.Rostad, Osteen, Dreis, Lincoln, B.Lang, Klumph, N.Ramos, J.Ramos, McPherson, and Mata'afa dressed but not playing. I might have missed some.
Brown and Hout were again in jerseys but shorts.
Couple things about the game. I take back everything I said about the Play by Play guy from Billings, he's freaking Joe Buck and Al Michaels by comparison. I'm a Marty fan and that was reinforced listening to Franklin; they had to stop in the 4th quarter and do a piece on him as an NFL player, just to prove he might know what he was talking about. You could tell that by what he was talking about.
Lots of people have mentioned the holding on Gubner, true enough, but Edwards got held so much I thought he might be a colicky infant. The tackle playing opposite him should be on the stat sheet as the Vandals leading tackler.
I think Coach Hauck summed up this years Griz very well when he said "our team is not aesthetically pleasing."
