Air travel so not as many players as most games.

Everybody who dressed saw the field except: Britt, Whitehead, Childs, Lincoln, Ashton, and Brammer.
Others have mentioned; Johnson, Bergen and Todd getting hurt. Two other players of note; Graves played a bit early but I don't remember seeing him at all in the second half. It seemed like McGourin was out for a while as well, I noticed him in the fourth and OT.

Kanouse and Botkin were both there but in street clothes from before kick off. I wonder if they were game day decisions?

Left home to study: Racanelli (street clothes for the season), Williams, Longin, Capser, Abbott, the Langs, Travillion, Ver Strate, Huff, C. Janacaro, Leonard, Croy, Barnum, Wegener, Detrick, Z. Evans, Hurlburt, Mann, Good, McCabe, Olson, McPherson, and Smith, plus all the Red Shirts.

In a game like that a 'dog has to play a very good game to be in a position to win and the Griz did. We ran the ball well enough, dominated TOP, forced TO's, and converted 3rd downs. Unfortunately we ran into a perfect storm of misfortune.

Another crucial play that could have gone the Grizzlies way : Roberts getting thrown into the kickers net, five yards out of bounds, that's 1st and Goal from the Hornets 7 with 20 seconds left in the 1st half.

Team is limited to 64 players on road. Has little or nothing to do with air travel.

Thanks for the info. Your 2d to last para is good.

That's interesting. Where did you find 64 player limit? The BCS rules I could find were from 2016 and they said the limit is 58 but only if you fly or stay overnight. I can't tell if you can take as many on the bus as you want. It's confusing because so far this year the Griz have had 71 players at Indiana State, 72 at Idaho State and 63 at SS. (Give or take one or two).

Bobby said it on Monday night.

I think he also said one night that the traveling parties can reach 150 people at times. There is a 64 player limit.

I was at the game and saw Graves go into tent. They worked on him for awhile, but he only went back in one time. He was returning kicks with Flowers early in game, but after he came off field visibly limping never went back in. Todd had some sort of bandage wrapped around his body. Not sure if it was holding an arm in place or ribs. Can’t remember exactly, but remember him having his pads off. Johnson looked ok after game. I bet he’s back this week. Hopefully Bergman is too.

Oh, I'm hoping he can recover from it because he seems pretty good. I knew about a leg injury he had but I'd thought he healed from that.
