Few would dispute that the Griz could have played better in their game with Wisconsin. Overall, they seemed tight and tried to do too much individually, rather than as a team -- which was their strength. Plus, even the Badger fans have noted that they shot the lights out against us.
Yet, painful as that loss was, let's not overlook the fact that Wisconsin has now -- despite a much worse shooting night -- advanced to the "Sweet Sixteen." To do that, they beat a Vanderbilt team that some had advancing to the Final four and maybe winning it all.
Personally, with no western teams left (and no "Cinderellas" I care about), I'm rooting for Wisconsin to go all the way. It won't change the fact that the Griz got drubbed in the opening round, but losing to a (perhaps) Final Four contender could remove some of the sting.
