Haha! I know right?
I have to ask, why this bout of hostility? Us Griz were supporting you guys when you won the title in '10. Quite a few Eags fans thanked us back.

If you guys are in the title fight and we're watching, I'll support you. Til then, ftg. Nothing personal.

Well, I'll be rooting against EWU from now on. No matter who they're playing. You guys have some real douche fans.

I have no idea what we'll do without you.

I had to laugh at the title of this thread "Overreaction". After every Cornhusker game, one of the local sports radio stations program name is "Big Red Overreaction". Basically win or lose, fans overreact after every game. Just is more venomous after a loss. You should have heard after the Huskers lost to UCLA.

Speaking of the Huskers, lots of talk of Bohl being a hot name if Pellini is let go.

No Bohl got in trouble there for messing around with some girl, he isn't very well liked. No BS.

I know a few former Huskers and large donors who want Bohl heavily considered. Still a long season. We shall see how it plays out.

Didn't he turn down Wisconson?

No, they hired within when Bielsma went to Arkansas...if he did he would be an idiot to turn down a couple mill over a few hundred grand. Obviously he is a great coach so he couldn't be that stupid. :thumb:
They did not "hire from within" they hired Gary Andersen from Utah State. Brand new staff.

We expect to at least compete not get blown out by half time. Losing is one thing but getting flat out throttled is not what any Griz fan should EXPECT. We have some very good players and if someone were to watch this game they were out of position most of the game. IMO this game showed a severe lack of leadership both on the sidelines and on the field. If anyone thinks we are gonna roll psu think again, or Cal Poly, or Ewu, or Sac State, or msu. We were exposed tonight by a team that was ready to play and WANTED to win. We did not execute a game plan because we didn't have one. Tye G.was outclassed, and the offense looked slow. Sorry but that's the reality. So I wouldn't say overreaction but I would say shocked, and disappointed. Not a good start!

A couple of fumbles were the difference, the perfect bounce at the goal line and the subsequent fumble were flat out bad luck. If those bounced our way different game. Agree we were outplayed but if those fumble outcomes were different it's a different game down the stretch and possibly a different outcome. I'm not pulling my hair out over a sub par game when the bounces went to the other team. The score reflects one outcome, perhaps we will get a rematch come playoff time.

It's a good time about the LA game. They lost (two years straight) to a superior institution. Nothing to be mad about. They gave their all, and the Nebraska fans were the best ever. Great people. It's dumb the way some fans here discredit what that program did back in the day.

Scott Frost will be #1 on Nebraska's list. Bohl is a 56 year-old career lower-division who has no shot of getting Nebraska the players it needs to compete for a BCS title.

My bad, I can't keep up on my coaching carousel, that was the Barry /Brett transition, friiging alzheimers,

Cornhuskers? Yawn who gives a flip about them?
It's time for the Griz to regroup and to learn from their mistakes. Hear that Delaney? Shred last year's playbook.
