Overlooking SUU?

Is that what happened in the first half today, or did the offensive line just decide not to block in the first half? It was sure an ugly performance until the second half, I hope it was just a slow start but we cannot play like that next weekend and expect to win, or even be in a game. Last week vs EW, the defense played alot of nickel against 3 and 4 wide, today I saw a nickel package only like 2 times the whole game, which makes me think that Gregorak did not prepare anything special this week to try and slow down SUU, but it worked out ok in the points department.

Sounded like on the pregame show that the Griz spent alot less time practicing this week, maybe that was the cause of the awful first half.

It seemed our linemen were resting themselves for next week. Hope it works.

I know first hand it's a sh!t trip, a sh!t venue, and a too many miles from home. Young kids are hard to figure, but how can one not think about next Saturday at 3:00 p.m. I'm not leaving until Sat. a.m. and that is driving me nuts. I'm sure they are glad this week is over and done. Teams like N.D. were victimized by the "on paper" theory and were kicked in the nuts today. We however are still in the mix. Jordan Canada is definitely my man for Griz M.V.P this year. I know some of you will give the nod to the "D" end, which is fine with me too... :egriz:

It was pretty clear that next week was on their mind at some level, as the ended the game they chanted FTC repeatedly and did a "Fvuk the Cats" cheer before they left the field.

I said an FTC after the Griz game myself, this is the one week of the year that I use that.

I was wondering when the weekly gloom and doom post from Jay Larson was going to show up. ;)

They do that chant after every last game before Cat Week. For at least the last 15 seasons, if not longer. I would be interested to see the final scores of every one of those games and see if there is evidence that every one of those 15 Griz teams overlooked that opponent. Somehow I doubt it.
