Over/Under on Merlot being chased down from behind AGAIN

Believe we have a 50/50 shot of Touchdown Tommy being chased down from behind AGAIN. Probably by 320 lbs Gubner. I’m picturing a repeat of our DE Beirman running down the bubcat WR.

Bump that up to 90% chance we pick off Tommy once, and at least a 50/50 chance he throws multiple picks.

He’s a good kid but for the rest of his life he’s going to get a migraine every time he thinks of the Grizzlies.

Gubner did chase a wideout down from about 15-20 yards last week. I would put the odds of running down a play from the backside better for one of the OLBs or safeties.

If Gubner chases down Merlot from behind, like Biermann did, he too will be in the NFL. Gubner is the best d-lineman in the conference. A special talent.

No doubt, if he is not on a NFL roster next season there is something really wrong. Lots of good players from both schools doing well at the next level.

Maybe. But what is going to be very special to watch is 6'4" 240 lb Sean Chambers absolutely truck liittle huck, and whatever other defenders try to tackle him. :thumb:

Fu*k yeah it's awesome. He has become one of my favorites to watch over the last few years. Started with him leading the team in INTS (I think) early in his career, somehow...I foresee All American status at some point.
