Outsider Candidate

As reported in numerous threads, Vigen was Haslam's target as of September. I hope he has refreshed. As we saw first hand, Wyoming's offense mirrored Delaney's.

Actually it was and had been Baldwin. I think Baldwin has his eyes on something bigger and UM has moved on.

A booster just told me that Haslam is VERY interested in Vigen and Blankenship.

Blankenship must be an Internet Bigfoot. I can't find him
Are you serious? Easy to find. Totally underwhelming resume.

True, 6 small paragraphs on his Wikipedia is hardly "nothing"

Baldwin was always a long shot. Vigen was his realistic target that he knew was interested.

Long shot yes but that was Kents #1 choice.

Interesting that he has been interested in UM all year but wasn't interested in taking over at NDSU.

It's frustrating, because we are having a good year and don't seem bothered by staff turnover. If it happens again though, who knows. Vig's has very close ties to NDSU, taking a couple of assistants and recruiting prospects from Minnesota might f* us for next year....

Hey, i'm being honest with you guys, if I was a griz fan, I wouldn't want vigen. wow.

even if vigen did come on, it wouldn't affect ndsu 1 bit.

The Griz don't need a coach interested in Montana because he likes to hunt and fish. Good lord.

My thoughts exactly! I would hope that the football HC would not have any hunting time.

You don't think Kramer would jump ship, have you seen the new Griz facilities being drawn up???

The regents would never approve it.

Ok, makes sense. I was wondering why Mike Kramers name suddenly popped up.

This all seems very plausible in my opinion. I could be mistaken but I thought somebody mentioned Vigen and Blankenship being longtime friends. Would make for an interesting pairing and lots of experience at the FBS level.

Mike Mcfooly ^^^ this blog is probably the dumbest person in Fargo after Lester Nygaard lol don't listen to anything he says.

If I was Montana Id look at Colorado State O Coord Dave Baldwin...not Beau.

The info I am receiving has MANY parties involved in the whole story that is unfolding. Stay tuned this could get interesting!!!

..."it was Vigen whorecruited Ryan Smith, Kevin Vaadeland, Taylor Nelson, John Crockett, etc., etc., etc."

So that's how it's done.

Note: third paragraph down on above link (sic).
