I don’t know what RR family Tommy is from, but there have been many good RR
athletes from the Blackfeet res and Great Falls. My friend Ed RR, who died a few years ago in his mid-60s, played at Northern or somewhere. He was tall and lanky and we played noon ball and city league together in Great Falls. His son played at CMR and some noon ball with us when he was younger. There is a good RR runner now who is going to Haskell to run.
A side note. Former Cat and Native American Raequan Battle scored 29 again today in his 2d game being eligible for West Virginia. 9-15, 2-3. I assume 29 average may be tops in ncaa. He and a few others won a TRO in a court case against ncaa for a transfer waiver.
