While I think you might have a point in the hypothetical, I'm not sure what "disrespect" has been hurled at CCU. Most of the football-related posts I've seen give them the respect they are due. The attendance situation is irrefutable and, I'm sure, recognized by their fan base.

We'll talk after the game... the 4-5 score differentials on the predictions or the questions of "whether they'll give us a game or not" are disrespectful to me. I fully anticipate for us to win by <2 scores. We'll talk then

I think NDSU won the last two NCs? I respect EWU as a powerhouse team don't get me wrong. It's their crappy fan base I don't envy. In that regard I respect that the Cats have improved their program of late. BTW nobody loves to visit with our playoff visiting fans more than me!

This thread is whacked. A lot of other teams' fans (especially in the BSC) hate Griz fans because the Griz TEAM mopped the floor with their team(s) for years.

Remember when we hated Georgia Southern for the same reason? Remember when their fans threw batteries at the Griz TEAM? We should be proud of the tradition the Griz TEAM, the university, and the fans have built for the Griz. We should be respectful of other teams, but shouldn't worry about whether fans of other teams dislike the Griz TEAM or its fans. They don't like to lose to us, and they are jealous of what we have going on during the fall on Saturdays.

CC is a good team, but as another poster documented very well, many good teams have cratered in Missoula in December over the past two decades. I attended all but one of those games, and the weather mattered and the noise mattered. Let's show up and make noise -- the Griz TEAM will do their part.

We're laughing at NAU and CC fans who complain to Griz fans about not being seeded. I certainly think both of those fan bases have the right to feel their team should have been seeded.
