This happened last night in a DIII men's basketball game beteeen Fitchburg St. and Nichols. I assume there will be further repercussions.

He has been kicked off the team and can't set foot on campus. He has already been scrubbed from the online roster and vacated a player of the week honor from the conference.
 
I was just looking at this during my lunch. Ridiculous. He should be arrested for assault.

Good for the school. That is one of the cheapest punches I've ever seen in b-ball. Somewhere Kermit Washington is smiling.
