All I can think of is someone like Coach Hauck or Coach Tim finding out through the grapevine about a ridiculous video on an app that certainly most of them have never accessed or been on (hell, I've never been on Tik Tok and I am in the media haha) announcing the departure of one of their most talented players.

Nightmare. You nailed it, Kodiak. My brother has never had any social media other than Twitter. I told him this story. He just texted me "WHAT THE F**K IS EVEN HAPPENING? AND WHAT IS TIK TOK?!"

If the coaches weren't properly told, he's not going to get a good recommendation when other teams call them. I think I've heard of TikTok. Didn't Elon Musk start that? Ha.

I’ve never had tik tok, instagram, facebook, any of it, have never found a good reason to, and I wear it like a badge of honor.

My guess is he already knows where he's going. He doesnt need a recommendation.

I would say maybe he didnt like the cold because he's from TX and went originally to SDSU. But he's been here 2 seasons. Did she come from SDSU with him? Probably is she a MT girl? Ahe shows a....proclivity to, shall we say, dress for the beach in many of her Instagram pictures. She's very comfortable in her skin.

They have been dating since high school. So she’s been along for the ride.
 
Odd all the way around, and does seem like he has a destination already figured out. After seeing Caleb as a freshman I was super stoked and thought he was going to pop a lot more as a sophomore than he did. He was productive. Wonder if he will find the same opportunities elsewhere. Wish him the best.

I wish we wouldn’t have devalued the academic part of the student athlete and what that means after playing days are done. Greed by the NCAA, conferences and schools. Imagine chasing all this stuff to 3 or 4 + schools then trying to explain in a job interview when you don’t go pro in football why you bounced around so much. As an employer, it would be hard to overlook at least early in someone’s post football career. Add in the social media and AI in the near future…yikes

Two words- pre nup. Will never understand why every young adult man or woman doesn’t get one if they are getting married. Remember - it’s called a court of law, not a court of justice, for a reason. If he or she won’t sign, they ain’t the one.
