Last night, it was clear that Illinois had no interest in being in the NIT -- getting their asses kicked by 21 points (and it wasn't really that close).

Tonight, it has started out like Colorado State wasn't much interested in being in the NIT. They were down by 12 early, and SDSU currently leads by 10.

CSU looks a bit better, but they still don't look like they want the game as much as SDSU. Bunnies ahead by 7, with about 15 min to go.

SDSU pulling away. CSU pretty much pulled an Illinois ... and didn't bother to show up for an "insulting" NIT game, even though it was on their home court. Tough cookie Rams, way to go Jack-bunnies.

Edit: As you can tell from all my BBall posts, TV games have not been that fun to watch.

What do you mean "csu didnt want it"? Csu got their asses handed to them by a team that was red hot and played really well. On their best day, csu can't shoot with the jacks, so they needed to win with D. Just sdsu' night. Didn't really matter if csu wanted it or not.

Ok, CSU didn't want it enough...or CSU didn't want it as much as SDSt. Overall they are a far superior team who ran into a hot team when their heads weren't in the game. If this game was played in the NCAA tournament rather than the NIT, CSU wins 8 or 9 times out of 10.
