One heck of a day for basketball ... aready! Upsets, OT games between ranked teams, buzzer beaters ... had it all. One half-time show even featured the buzzer-beater beating a (near) buzzer-beater in the PSU vs NAU game. (The refs put just enough time on the clock for that to happen.

Oh, and in case you missed it, the admin at New Mexico State has shut down the men's basketball program. Not exactly sure why, since we're getting slightly conflicting stories.

Meanwhile: Way to go Lady Griz! And GO GRIZ! :egriz:

In the first game of the day for the big sky, the eggs are up 31 to 30 over the vandals. Could go to the wire, however, I think the eggs will break it open.

Check out the ending of the Portland State-NAU game:

Agree with your observation.

Would also point out, however, that the first Big Sky for today was Portland State at Northern Arizona ... which came down to (see above) buzzer-beater vs buzzer beater.

I was wrong! Eastern Washington up 67 to 64 with 26 seconds to go.

Glad the Griz have NoColo behind them. The Bear's have suddenly got hot and have won three in a row, including a pretty decisive win over Sac State tonight.
