Probably because Osweiler had verbally committed to Gonzaga to play basketball his sophomore year. Not sure how hard the Griz recruited him after that.

Many don't recall that Brock was a GU BBall commit before deciding to go FB. EWU will continue to sink down to the depths of commuter school recruiting. Keep raising that Prop 48 flag, Eags! f***[*] joke of a program.

He "committed" to GU in the 9th grade, being pushed by his mom, against the advice of his coach. Then he got the football bug. Great athlete with many God-given talents.

I hope that he does well. I just wish it wasn't with the Broncos. :?

Actually that is impossible. Both are quarterbacks. The Broncos beat a Patriot team without their top 3 receivers, and running back - and some horrible calls from what were obviously Big Sky refs.
