I have read this paragraph at least a dozen times and it makes no sense. Look at it. What a PR spin job.

In one breath, MSU admits it “erred” and claims it simply made a mistake, but in the next breath it says it was not its fault. Huh?

Talking out both sides of their mouth like a filthy politician.

Passing the buck.

The cover up is always worse than the crime.

I think this goes all the way to the top.

Their beloved Cruzodo probably hands out pez dispensers with each yellow foam hat.

Really, you read it a dozen times and did not understand it? If you did a dozen times, you failed, because you got it all wrong. Did you graduate from UM? I really hope you admit it someday and say no. That would be good for UM.
I would love you or anyone else to please explain it. If MSpoo erred and made the mistake, why is it someone else’s fault?
Whose fault does MSpoo think it is?
What the hell happened? What did it do wrong? How do they fuck this up? Did they spill his supposed clean vim sample?
Can it not take ownership for once?
Sounds like something a #scumcat would claim

What? What did I get wrong?
Please enlighten us, ol’ wise one (heavy emphasis on the ol’ part).
You keep alleging that I’m “almost lying” but you have failed to correct a single syllable.

I think the message is clear: “It was his fault for taking the banned drugs, but not really because he thought they were non-banned drugs, so no big deal even though he competed on banned drugs, and it’s our fault for the reinstatement taking so long, but it’s not our fault or his fault, it was our fault, except it wasn’t, so it’s the NCAA’s fault for suspending him for the use of banned drugs, that he used, and competed with in his system.”

Not saying I know one way or the other. Just going off of what I’ve read online, so it might be all a big hoax.

Classless

With no explanation whatsoever from MSC, we have to assume they are trying to cover up a systematic problem.

Nothing else makes sense.

Could be. Like I said, we don’t know for sure what he took. All we really know is what was reported and what suspension was handed down. We don’t really know exactly why it’s still in place after it was set to expire.

“The MSU athletic department erred in the reinstatement process for Rylan Ortt," Costello said in a statement following MSU's 37-6 win over ISU. "This is simply a department mistake and is no fault of Rylan or the football program. We are working to resolve the issue to get Rylan on the field as quickly as we can.”

I knew PR would be involved in this clown show...figures.

I don't think any of us know the full story, but it sure is fun to fill in the blanks and make up our own story.

I wish rylan and his family the best during this purgatory and hope to see him out there for deep playoff run.

Go Cats

Keep doubling down on that narrative. It clearly makes you feel good.

By the way, His dad played TE for the Gris and his parents were long time UM season ticket holders. But yeah, let's keep sh!tting on the kid.

I'm happy he chose to walk on at MSU and earn a scholarship. Go Cats.

Well they clearly started making poor life choices

Remember the time bobcat fans reported UM to the NCAA (the actual fucking ncaa!!) because Bobby put out a tweet with the incorrect record of the Brawl? Except that it was the right record, and they’re just a bunch of imbeciles? Yeah, good times. Shows how desperate their fan base is to find UM in hot water. Meanwhile PEDs, blatantly dirty play, and who knows what else at msu is fully acceptable.

Very proud our program and university places a huge emphasis on integrity.

Certainly has to be large concerns about the integrity and ethics in that program, ans with the university’s leadership.

Is there more than one player involved? Was the university? If not, why is this any big deal?

You appear relatively intelligent. I'll let you work through this one on your own.

I thought there was another player involved but not sure. Didn’t 2 players vim hot and get held out of the chipper?
MSC was certainly involved, and it’s hands are filthy, up to their elbows.
Not only did MSC allow the juiced up player(s?) to play all last season, they flubbed the return and are now trying to cover up and blame someone else.
They literally admitted they were the ones to screw up the reinstatement, but at the same time tried to avoid responsibility for doing so.
When everyone keeps passing the buck, it clearly goes all the way to the top

man I hate the scats as much as anybody but way lack of facts to be spewing the crap that is coming out of some people's pie hole. anybody ever look at the list of banned substances? Talk about jumping to conclusions with no facts.

Honest post: I don’t really blame the player in a situation like this (if it truly was a banned OTC supplement and not actual HGH or something). I think it’s lack of supervision on a program level, and I’d think the same if it was UM. Agree with you and wbtfg that nobody really knows what happened. The reinstatement is a separate issue. WTF happened there?
