I noticed that September 16 is an open date on the 2023 schedule
Jackson State has that date open as well.
Get a home and home with them.
Show the SWAC what real FCS football is all about.

Prime in Missoula. That would be fun!

It would. I'd really like to play CAA teams fairly regularly as well. I know the travel is expensive (side bar: a phrase never uttered by FBS programs), but the home and home with Maine was cool. Indiana State on the road this year is nice. I guess I'm just over the Central Washingtons (or worse, bsc opponents as "nonconference") games.

The home and homes with Maine and Hofstra were part of the undoing of our aggressive AD.

Indiana St is really nice since it’s a game I’ll be at😎.

That was under a different administration, too.
Can you clarify what your're getting at, though? I'm not sure if you're suggesting that booking home/homes again like that would be too aggressive for our present AD/President, or something else entirely. Maybe you were merely reminding us of the history.
Or, possibly, you have some insights on the current situation that would have bearing on whether it's a good idea to book a great team that date? I, for one, would be interested in hearing the take. Thanks!

Thanks for asking GG, as I too would like to get clarification on his point. My understanding is that it wasn't the games or the trips that helped fuel the budget deficit, but the unnecessary expenditures on those trips.
