Now that the dust has settled and Fall camp is taking place, its amazing to see that UM only has 14 Seniors on the roster.

Obviously losing #11 & #33 are big loses
but
Calhoun, JLM, Sirmon, Sandry, Sims will hurt too.

Losing 3 CB is the only position that loses numbers.

Will be interesting to see how the other Seniors play the year.

We had a young team last year, and we have a young team this year.

FBS: I can't find any stats on FCS, but I found an FBS list of the youngest teams evaluated by starters. The top 10 youngest FBS teams have an average of about 6 senior starters.

South Dakota: A recent quote by the USD coach: “We have five seniors on each side of the football, one of the youngest groups I’ve ever had.”

Griz: We had four senior starters for the final game last year, out of 22 players. If the junior starters on that list become senior starters this year, and the junior backups of senior starters last year become starters this year, we'll have 9 senior starters.

What’s crazy is that we have precisely one senior offensive lineman that was actually recruited to that position! :? It explains a lot in regard to our recent troubles running the ball and protecting the QB.
