FedEx Ground FCS National Defensive Player of the Week
Winston Reid, Weber State, LB, Sr., 6-1, 230, St. George, Utah

Reid was all over the field when Weber State upset fourth-ranked Idaho 31-29, knocking the Vandals out of first place in the Big Sky Conference. His 17 tackles were the most by a Wildcats player in nine years, and they included seven solos and 1.5 for losses. He forced a fumble that was recovered by a teammate in the fourth quarter, and had two quarterback hurries and a pass breakup.

also - someone had mentioned that the star Vandal running back didn't play.

Idaho played without injured running back Anthony Woods, who has 872 rushing yards
this season and 13 touchdowns. A banged-up McCoy was also a game-time decision.

So, if everything wasn't the way it was, it would all be different?

? ? ?

Don't know what you are asking - but according to IDAHO and their newspaper coverage = Yes that was a factor.

Contributing factors for a result =/= excuses

Yeah, that probably came off harsher than I meant it to. It's just something my Grandfather from Glasgow (the one across the ocean of water, not the one in the middle of the ocean of wheat) used to say.

Of course; injuries can be a factor, officiating can be a factor, heck, the weather can be a factor. It's not a surprise that if we like the team it's an explanation and if we don't it's an excuse.
