one of my fav top 25 has us at 6

Well at least he’s smart enough to have us above Idaho, FFS. Unlike the dipshit Craig Haley and that idiot from EWU, Kylor Neale…

Sam Herder of Hero Sports has UM @ 6 with a few nice words about the Griz.

"The doomsday scenarios have moved from Missoula to Fargo now."

That notion is just delicious. :thumb:

There were issues in that locker room LAST year…remember players were entering the portal as the team was prepping for the playoffs? A very weird vibe…I think Entz has worn out his welcome…

The thing I can't stand more than maybe anything else when it comes to poll voters, and this applies to national writers and posters who vote in the AGS poll, is when they count "wins over ranked-at-the-time opponents". Herder in his article makes this point several times. EWU will not be ranked tomorrow after losing to ISU, so why give NDSU credit there? They are not a ranked win. Every team that beat Weber State in the beginning of the year doesn't get a ranked win now that they are confirmed dogshit.

By this point, we're getting a pretty good idea of who's good or not. Giving teams props for beating teams you thought were good at the beginning of the season who have since fallen off is just stupid, and there are way too many people who do this.

Okay, soap box over.

We gotta be ranked #1 in the FCS (Homecoming Edition). Last three wins were all homecoming games, two on the road vs. Top 20 ranked teams.

The other thing that annoys me is holding against teams early season struggles. Kylor Neale (EWU fan and podcaster) and I got into a twitter convo because he still ranked Griz behind UI in his poll because of a number of reasons, but including “struggling against NAU”. Ok. Fine. But the LAST three games, as they’ve found their rhythm, they’ve beaten two ranked teams ON THE ROAD. And strangely he had UI at 8 and Griz at 9, which would have made perfect sense to just flip them…but NOOOOOOO, he just feels that somehow Idaho’s “resume” is better, despite not having a signature win (unless he’s’ counting an FBS win against the worst G5 team out there)…his logic was horribly flawed…
