Watch carefully as I suspect strongly it is a fake. Couple reasons:

It looks a little windy but not windy enough to blow the ball at that severe of an angle. It looks when he releases the ball it is thrown very high and to the right. The ball comes down from a different angle than he is running. Looks like someone from behind the camera threw the ball he catches.

The hang time on the ball is 5 seconds. So he can throw the ball 50 yards with as much hang time as a good NFL Punt travelling a similar distance? An NFL QB throws the ball 50-60mph and punters kicks the ball at about 70mph. So this high school kid can throw a ball with as much velocity as an NFL punter? Makes no sense.

fake... Watch the shadow of the ball as it leaves his hand. then watch the shadow of the ball "reappear" as it comes down to him. They are not the same. The first shadow just stops behind what looks like a propane tank. Then a new shadow appears appears a second later far away from the first.
