One hour till game time!

The Griz are a bad offensive team, missing one of the few shooters on the team, that needs to play good defense and rebound, which they are not doing. This team will lose more games, they just need to win at home and find a way to win some road games.

I dont know how many rebounds our guys have standed flat footed and watched hit the floor. Effort is bad tonight!!!

Good gravy, this is one:

awful.

Two, some really suspect officiating. Suspect in that "hey we are on a big stage, and lets determine the outcome."

But that is how things go. We just cannot get anything going consistently on offense, and we have no answer for UNC on D. We need a lock down something fierce.
Typical Montana fan:

"If we're losing, we can't be getting outplayed or be facing a better team, it must be the refs' fault!"

Trust me, I've got a better view of the game than you do, the Griz have gotten the lion's share of the calls tonight, and pretty much every call in the second half.

Montana's problem tonight is rebounding and turnovers.

Again..they are struggling this game, but this is not how they usually play. The Griz are #2 in the conference right now for FG%. A "bad" offensive team is not usually anywhere near the conference in FG%. Sure, they are not a good 3 point shooting team by any stretch of the imagination.. and the FT shooting is hurting (not the worst in the conference, but more middle of the pack). Their offense definitely isn't bad though or they wouldn't have won many games this year.

If the Griz start playing like they've played most of the year, they will come back in this game and make it close. It's only a matter of time before the Griz get going on offense. I can't imagine they shots will continue to look this ugly the rest of the game.

UNC is out-hustling, playing great defense by forcing really poor shots, and beating the Griz on the boards. I hope that they can work through this and learn from their lack of overall effort so far (and probably tonight).

It seems that the bum ankle is still bugging Cherry, he doesn't seem to be playing at his usual level.

Are you listening to your own announcer? He's whining about more calls than any other announcer I've heard since..well..the last time the Griz played UNC and he whined about every call that went against UNC (including making some insulting remark about one of our players).

The reffing is just another typical big sky reffed game... shitty on both ends. They call it incredibly close one minute, and then let someone get away with murder the next. When ticky-tack fouls start getting called inside it hurts, because our size is one of our strengths..

I'm not blaming the Griz losing right now on the refs by the way. UNC is playing much better right now, and the Griz O looks like the Griz O in football this year :P Thing is.. I'm still confident the Griz O will turn things around in this game and get something going to make this one close again.
