Brock Landers said:Probably. If SHSU hadn't scheduled themselves out of a seed and home field advantage, they might actually have been the favorite. I really hope the Cats find themselves hosting SHSU in the 2nd round and traveling to Fargo if they somehow survive :thumb:
Brock Landers said:Ah, the excitement of hoping you can steal a 2nd win from us in 7 tries! I guess when you root for a perennial loser you have to get your shots in while you can :lol:bigsky33 said:You mean I may get promoted to the french fries machine if I work hard? WOW-you UM grads sure know what happens when you work hard at McDonalds. I will take your experienced advice. Thanks for the tip!

havgrizfan said:Doesn't MSU have that opportunity at the start of every season? The answer is yes. But the Cats jhust never seem to get it done. At mid-season last year, I picked the Cats to go to Frisco and they tanked huge. And I'm not talking against Sammy, I'm talking about getting housed in their own house against the Griz, which cost them a top seed.
I'm reluctantly picking the Cats to get to Frisco again this season, regardless of the outcome against The Griz Saturday. But if they get trucked by a smaller or lower seeded team AGAIN THIS SEASON, I'd say the window will be closed, even with McGhee and Kirk coming back next year.
Loser CP and NAU might be out.grizpack said:WILD_CAT said:I'm just shocked that 4 Big Sky Teams are going to be in the playoffs and the Griz aren't one of them. Boy have things changed. Should be a great recruiting year in state for the Cats (especially with a win this weekend). :thumb:
I will be shocked if the BSC gets 4 teams in the playoffs. That has to make the eastern conferences about throw up. I think they find a way to keep at least 1 out.

The Cats had better be deep at linebacker and cornerback if Moore is true to form. Note the first couple of series in the EWU/Griz game. Keep the ambulance warmed up and somebody please tell #5 to keep his head up while attempting a tackle.

I know its early, but next week we'll be preoccupied with our playoff game.
Cheers....
