old vs new

Given that the odds of our gaining 2 points on an extra point (2) versus kicking , I'll take the 2 point attempt. Given the lider effect, only 5/7 on eps, the odds favor going for 2. My take is we can be succesful 2 out of 3 times it makes sense to go for 2. If it works more than half the time it's a no brainer.

I'm guessing we can convert at better than 60 per cent, hope the coaches will embrace new ideas, old school isn't always the best and I'm an old school guy.

Do you think we can get two of three going for two over the entire season?

It depends on the opponent, duh. Against a weak ND D yup.

Against a stout cal poly another story. Doesn't seem most Big Sky d's are very good. So yes, I'll go for it 9 times out of 10. It's just numbers . momentum has has been proven to be utter bullshit results wise. So yeah if lider continues to miss pats at this rate going for 2 is a better option.

Not really asking about the opponent. That's really the point. I wanted to know if you thought it would average out at 2/3 on the season. I'm not disagreeing with you, at this point . . .

Kicking PATs should be extra practice for kicking field goals. It doesn't build much confidence to forego PAT tries. I wouldn't give up on them, rather practice to the point they're automatic.
