old UM b-baller?

I was at a local bar the other night and had a great talk with Matt Kemford (sp?) he said he was an old griz basketball player and some people around me said he was pretty good, I don't recall hearing about him, can anyone help me out on this? thanks alot

I don't believe he was, but he played overseas for a bit.

I don't let being called old bother me one bit, the option is being referred to as dead. :thumb:

You could be thinking of his brother David. He played center for the football team and was signed as a free agent with the Seagals.. He went on to play for the Rams and Jags. Here is an article about him.

Matt is another one of those kids who I thought UM was crazy for even letting him walk on.

That is why I go to my real job every day.

I was wrong. He was right. He was pretty good.
