We are surely a rebuilding team and good part is we started with players that will be here another 3-4 yrs. :thumb: look at it this way all teams we played had experienced seniors and jrs, we on the other hand, had freshman and soph with no experience, and we lost by one or two mistakes! :o we are coming back next yr with a better state of mind I am sure. 2013-2014 GrizNation will dominate again!  :thumb: Go Griz!!!

I'm sorry, but I do not see the Griz as a "rebuilding team" this year. I see them as a team getting royally screwed by their own coaching staff, game after game after game.

That’s the problem next year I expect the team to be better. But what of the coaching? New head coach in 2014 maybe even next year not giving me hope for the next two years. :(

Plugrad was given a chance... Umm never mind ok coaching needs change, we still coming back with a stronger team. Go Griz!!!

The Griz will return with a more "talented" team but if anyone doubts the importance of coaching look at what is going on with the Arkansas Razorbacks. Before losing Coach Bobby Petrino, Arkansas was speculated to be a top 10 team in the nation, potential winner of the SEC, and were to possess one of the most elite offenses in the SEC. They lost Coach Petrino before the season started and Arkansas and lost 4 straight games and likely won't win 6 FBS games to be bowl eligible.

That's a very good comparison. Amazing how a coaching change can do that. A team can have a shitload of talent, but if the coaching isn't there... they become mediocre at best.

Kind of destroys that theory that we've heard soooo many times over the years that the Griz could bring in Any coach and we'd still be a playoff team (that was usually used to dismiss the success Hauck had here).

coaches are part of the "team". if your coaches aren't up to par...you're rebuilding as a team....

I hate people that blame the coaching staff, either get behind the entire team or go away.

Yes, I fondly remember your love for BH.

Please tell me we will get a fresh new staff. A mix of experience and youth. And lord please not stale holdovers or good ole boys.

Like Counts we have him for 4 more, ah piss that's right. We needed him real bad for a couple garbage time carries in that one game that was really windy. I mean windy.

I don't care what anybody says. I love this future squad and will be there until there is no longer any football in UofM :thumb: Go Griz, we gottem' next season. I am going to try my best to make every game next year. Go Griz!!!

As in he could never ever win the big one. It's always someone else's fault.

It's like a bad dream..someone elses bad decision that he/the Griz lose a year for...wow! Is there a way to wake up and it never happened???

I think one aspect where a lot of fans perceive is that coaches are stagnant and don't/won't improve. This is Delaney's first head coaching assignment in 20 years, Gregorak's first year as a D1 defensive coordinator who was given a defense that lost a lot of talented Seniors from last year. Gregorak is an ambitious, hard working, enthusiastic person that isn't going to be a worse defensive coach if he remains to coach next year and I find it hard to believe that he won't be constantly trying to better his defensive football knowledge that will ultimately better the Grizzlies for the 2013 season. I am not trying to back up the coaches by any means but there are a lot of coaches that start out with terrible seasons and then figure it out and bring a team the following year that will storm out of the gates that performs at a higher level, where people wonder why didn't we see that performance last year?
