Ohio St and the Griz

Ohio St has had one of the best defenses in the country in recent history. 12-0 this season and then a loss to Indiana in the Big 10 championship. And a loss to Miami tonight. And out of the playoffs.

10 play, 70 yard, 5 minute drive by Miami at end of game where Miami got a TD. Why couldn't/didn't Ohio St stop them?

Fire the coach. Fire the DC. Have a meltdown for the ages. This just can't happen. It only happens to teams like the Griz.
 
Ohio State has the benefit of not having any peer programs in their state like the Cats are to the Griz. The Griz have to beat the Cats to win their backyard. Ohio State has already won their backyard before the season even starts.

That's not the point, idiot. Ohio State gave up a long drive at the end of the game, and lost the game. That's the point. Nothing in my post said anything about a backyard. Learn to read. Learn the game.

Learn to read the hundreds of posts on egriz saying the issue is we are losing our backyard by losing to the Cats. There are multiple 10 plus page threads on the issue.

Ohio State actually won a National Championship under Ryan Day last year, he has proven he can win in the biggest game...hauck hasn't..big difference.

When has Ohio State lost the in state recruiting battle to anyone? Was the last time before the forward pass when Hoops played?

Ohio states back yard is Michigan. Ohio state has been very bad against Michigan
 
Ryan Day (former FCS QB) is like 51-1 against non ranked teams, 17-7 against top 25 teams, 8-7 against top 10 teams, 2-5 against top 5 teams and 1-4 aginst his rival. Compare and take away what you will.
