Oh, No He Didn't!! ISU announcer disses Griz!

Hello, I watch as many Big Sky football games as possible on any given weekend. The week that the Griz lost to EWU I was watching the ISU/Cal Poly video stream.

After the Griz loss, the ISU announcer said that the Griz would be sitting home post season.

That didn't sit well with me. While I have respect for Coach Kramer and ISU, I couldn't let the slight pass without a response. So, I signed up on the Bengals chat board and called him on his disrespect.

To my amazement, he actually responded - but not with a contrite attitude - he's still cocky and claims that the Griz post season is only because of the money we bring in!

You should point out to the announcer that the Griz had seven DI wins and ISU only had six. That is a major factor. And second, Boo hoo about losing to two FBS schools. The Griz traveled to Wyoming and to NDSU in their non conference schedule. NDSU is probably better than one of the FBS teams they lost to...

The ISU play by play guy used to post occasionally on this board (more on the BB side) and he always seemed a decent sort, albeit a homer. But he's off base on this. An 8-4 Griz team with losses to the teams we lost to is a lock for the playoffs, and it has nothing to do with money.

ISU may have had ONE quality win. Out of 6. Cal Poly. But that's debatable.

I don't get it. What are the ISU fans talking about? They claim we hijacked the Big Sky Conference by threatening to move to the Mountain West and somehow we're responsible for the expanded conference thereby ensuring we wouldn't play "quality" teams like ISU.
