Not kicking the fieldgoal on the 4 yard line. I know our defense was playing well at the time but seriously. Kick the fieldgoal, then try and pin them deep and THEN play defense. I know we missed a PAT after that but seriously. We have NO run game, our O-line leaves a lot to be desired, we go for it and run up the middle, something everyone knows we are completely incapable of doing. I believe that cost us the game.

You do realize that even if they kick the FG and go up 7, it wouldn't have guaranteed a win.

If all we are playing for is the big sky conference. If we don’t win the conference and get the automatic bid into the playoffs, our nonconference games absolutely do matter.

This is a fringe team that will be battling for wins all season. This one game won't make or break them if they can't figure out how to win on the road.

Other than the offensive line, I think this team is better than you are giving them credit for. They just need to stop making boneheaded mistakes at the most inopportune times

Agree....but the o line is horrible. WIU had young guys who did far better. Something has to change or it is a wasted year. Either Germer needs to get them playing better/smarter or if the players can't then might as well try others because has been no improvement three games in. Sain looked pretty good last week, Stoner has looked pretty good when in for Beaver (who had a very bad game).

I think they also need to get Calhoun playing, Eastwood doesn't have it unless there is a big hole on inside zone (which happens maybe once a game). He can't run outside and it shows.

Not with thisfinal score, but during the game itself forces TDs instead of field goals, which can dictate play calls. Not a good call. Was a bad angle though, so maybe that was part of the thought process

Especially when the other plan is a dive play out of pistol formation with an oline that can't open a hole to save their life
