Official Griz vs UCD Game Thread

I like Sneed. I think he can be explosive, and his grit and leadership are commendable.

He is just not a good passer, and I’ve never seen a QB that melts down as easily as he does.

#5 Cam is quarterbacking. Just saying.

So a Sneed with a bad wing and a gimpy leg is STILL better than Humphrey? I guess Bobby is just willing to go down in flames with Sneed rather than let anybody else see if they have a pulse.

Most stubborn SOB on earth
Stubbornness was always an obstacle in Hauck's first tenure as coach, despite all of his success.

I’m out. For the year.

No need to sit and watch this implosion with a coach who is completely unwilling to try ANYTHING different when it’s painfully obvious what he IS trying continues to not work.

Insanity is continue to do the same thing over and over and expect different results. This is f***[*] insane.

Dude, they are a bad team with little depth. They are very poor in the trenches on both sides of the ball and the secondary couldn't cover a baby with a blanket. QB position is not good. Reality is hitting a bunch of people.

I don’t agree that they are a bad team other than our oline. Sneed should not be QB1 either

There are only a handful of current players who will lead the Griz resurgence...Many of them are not on campus yet. That's the bottom line.

UM's problems are far deeper than that. An incoming group of new freshman is not going to compete well with the top Big Sky teams...

That is why it is going to take a couple more seasons minimum.

Yes. Those on here touting Stitt's recruits and counting stars...

Proves how imprecise recruiting can be. Complete turnover on O-Line required. Complete turnover in the secondary required...Major turnover at the skill positions---some exceptions here, same with D-Line. Linebackers are solid.

BH has a big job ahead.

Some assistant coaches may not be around.

Now that it doesn’t really matter

Unfortunately, BOTH O line and D line appear to be the foundational problems for this squad. O line cannot block or protect and D line absolutely cannot get to a quarterback on their own-leads to getting burned with blitzes. And then, of course, there is quarterback (either Humphrey is truly abominable or BH is truly stubborn). Definitely some upgraded personnel needed.

Agreed. Both lines aren't good enough.

Having Sims out doesn’t help either

keep 'em coming

The Griz are a mere shadow of themselves. Lots of blame to share. Lot of soul searching and work to be done in the off season. But until we can build an OL again we are going nowhere fast. We are probably 3 to 5 years from that assuming we can recruit the horses we need.
Been watching Griz football for over 40 years and this is a sad spectacle. But I will continue to chear them on.

A big reason for that is your favorite Stitt left this team with so many holes, bad OL, DL, secondary.

Just no. If we still had some of the players who left, the holes would not be as bad as they are. This is not all on stitt.

What a sad 2nd half showing.

Speechless.
That wasn’t going to be a problem this year, we were promised they would compete for 4 quarters and they would make adjustments. We haven’t played a complete game this year.
