Official Griz vs CWU Game Thread

thought they looked better in the second half. Think Kris Brown looked better than Humphrey but it just could have been rust. Still think losing Knight really hurts this team.

Not sure who called you out, but I never thought this was much of a Hot Take.

Standing by for hunt-cucks to come on and gloat.

You must be able to bend and insert without help. Did my knowledge of football, which you questioned, make your sphincter pucker? You obviously can't admit that I was right all along, but it blasphemous to ever criticize "the club", eh AZ? I will accept your apology.

It should have been obvious to anyone who knows football that Cam was not the answer. 5th-year senior who could never win the starting job. 59% completion percentage last season having the best group of receivers in all of FCS football. Drilling too-hot passes on check-offs instead of throwing a catchable pass. Making poor reads. Inconsistent accuracy.

I understand that Brown had never taken a live-game snap. But I have coaching buddies for several AA programs who told me that Brown has the ability to be great. In fact, the guy I respect the most says that Brown has PAC 12 ability.

Hilarious to see everyone jump on the Brown band-wagon now. And two weeks ago I was a clueless idiot for daring to state that Brown was the better QB. As I stated BEFORE this game. Brown will be the starter at some time this season, and not because of injury to Cam either....... it will be because he is a much better QB.

I think most of the posters from that thread argued that they wanted the QB that gave us the best shot to win to start whoever that may be.. today it looked like brown.

Here is the best part, people said that Cam would get the starting nod, which he did. No one, and I repeat, no one said that Brown couldn't beat him out and become the starter.

It wasn’t WHAT you said. It was HOW you said it. And your convoluted logic for believing it. Without ever disclosing “coaching buddies in several AA programs claiming he has pac-12 ability’...so yeah, your logic was questioned. Sorry if that hurts your feelers, Cuck.

So besides all the complaints about who is right and who is wrong about quarterbacks. Are there any team stats? A box score or something?

By the way, Idaho is up 31-24 playing with a 5th string QB. Who was actually a running back.

Brown had a better showing than Humphrey. Just my 'never played the game' opinion, which was formed long before I looked at this site.

I remember the "who will start" a few weeks ago. I never wade in as I had no idea. I figured Cam would start as he had the experience. But, just one game and Brown looked way better. Will see next week how that goes.

For what it's worth.. QB rating = Humphrey 61% and Brown 75%.

Another note, NCAA should allow these spring games going forward.

Agree that Brown looked really good. Humphrey looked pretty good but was inconsistent. Brown is 6’4” and is athletic and has great arm. Coaches like to give seniors an opportunity and we are seeing that. This will play out but would be surprised if Brown does not end being the starter. Lots of time to see what happens.

Now THAT is an interesting opinion. I think spring ball has some potential if it gets people in the stands. Also, for all teams that participate, that's a huge boost for the bench/youngins.

Did anyone else notice that of the 5,000 'allowed' that less than 4,200 showed up? 8-)

I’m impressed that many did show up for what is essentially a scrimmage, even if the games and stats count. I think the somewhat crappy weather today across western MT played a bit of a role in keeping some people home. Hopefully we’ll see close to a “sellout” next weekend.
