Eastern saw him more than the Griz and they didn't want him. What does that tell you? He's about as plain, vanilla, generic, no flash safety as you can get. Has Tully or Hermanson EVER laid a big hit on anyone as a Griz? I can't remember any. We just saw Hermanson get trucked. He's awful. At least Tully is a solid tackler, but no speed, no safety blitzes, no impact hits, no fear for receivers. I think our corners have talent and potential, but the safeties suck.

So you know for a fact that EWU did not talk to Tully? Are you sure?
 
EWU's DBs are pretty good tacklers - guess it's easy to compare them to what we've been seeing but man, they've made multiple open-field tackles 1 on 1 - something our secondary has not shown much of. #24 doesn't tackle Pete there and it's probably 14-14

agree with everything you said except the part about Tully being a solid tackler.
 
Question on the 3rd and goal - you have a mobile QB but you roll him to the short side of the field? Just B/C he's a lefty? Lots more field on the other side.
