Official Game Thread: Griz vs. UCD

Oh Jesus. This is all my fault. I went and got beer at the half and I wasn't in my seat to start the third. We all know how that works.

This was a huge play. After TO Griz trot out 11 early. Davis comes out of TO kind of late with play clock running. Griz then sub out a DL late. WTH? Biggest defensive play of the game and the Griz D basically takes it off. Why not even take their own timeout once they realize they've f'd up the late sub? Horrible play all around.
 
We lost, and we looked tremendously unimpressive doing it. Would have been nice to have appeared to be a contender with our largest audience in some time. The crowd, noise, ambience and “mystique” only carry you so far. You have to show up and defend your turf when these opportunities arise. UCD rolled up our turf, loaded it on the plane and took it home.

Whatever it is, it needs to be identified, and corrected, NOW. No sacred cows. To go from national runner up to this in this time frame, is totally pathetic, and unacceptable.

I miss Ronnie Bradford and want a new offensive Coordinator and to not have this fucking retarded coaching staff pull Fifie when he starts 5/6 with 1 TD and the only incomplete pass being a God damn drop

In the post game, this was asked of both coaches. BH essentially said he was trying to do something to change up the game. This, despite evidence Fife did well prior to being pulled. UCD coach said the Griz offense doesn't change much with either QB so they play it the same way defensively, which was obviously successful.

Quite possible BH knew/knows this is a bit of a throw away season because of a lack of strength in most areas of the team, for whatever reason. Never going to make the chipper. Have to give Ah Yat the snaps for both exp and his interest in staying here and not going into the portal.....say to Hawaii.

If true, it's a bit of a disappointment coming off a NC caliber team and probably begs the question of the coaches why things have fallen off so far versus the Dakota's. Just a suspicion.
