Official game day thread GRIZ vs NAU

NAU appears to be one of the better defenses we have faced this year. So I think our scoring 40 plus points a game doesn’t happen in this one. Bigger question is if some semblance of a defense for the Griz can show up. 😬
I’m not so sure. I have a bad feeling about this one.
 
Griz win big...going to see some real defense and all will be right in the world..we score 45 points they score probably less than 24.......I will wait until after the game to post again but that will be a simple short post....
 
…and now we return to our regularly scheduled broadcast… the offense does great after digging out of a 21 pt deficit caused by the zombie apocalypse, otherwise known as the side of the ball that greatly assists the opposing teams offense look like an entire team of NFL players and the league MVP winning Quarterback…
 
Why is it I’m already pissed off and the game, if that’s what you want to call it, is still about 6 hours away from kickoff. 😑

Seriously, the Griz D look like St. Mary’s school for special people going up against Neegan and Lucile from the Walking Dead, his early episodes… honestly it’s like watching a massacre play out in slow motion… eeny, meeny, miny, SPLAT!

Depressing....But made me snicker. I hope Neegan and Lucille don't show up today, but thanks for the visual! 😂

What is missing on eGriz? AHA! Like a bolt from the clear blue sky, it was obvious. Talk about 'moving up' and 'playoff seeding' have nearly vanished! Not that either scenario is impossible, just highly unlikely at this point. Prove me wrong, Griz. KICK ASS!!! Their ass, that is.🤣
 
So I picked NAU in the challenge…but before everyone gets all up in my grill, last year after the loss I picked against the Griz and they won. I picked against them the rest of the season. Let’s hope it happens again! And also…if it does…I should get credit for Griz wins in my pick ‘em hahaha
 
Trevin Gradney, # 37, is from here in Billings, and Billings is justifiably proud of both Junior Bergen and him as well as the other GRIZ from Billings. While I don't know Trevin, one of my colleagues @ the youth service's center knows him and his family really well, tells me he's a great kid--friendly, humble, hard working and a good student--and his dad is a big Bobcat, former Shi##y Kitty football player.

I know Trevin has had a rough couple of weeks, and I hope as # 37, he has an outstanding game today that inspires both our D and the rest of our team--hopefully we can put a lot of pressure on NAU's QB, which will help Trevin and the rest of our secondary--I don't have to tell anyone reading this how badly our secondary has been torched this season, especially the last three weeks !!!

Have fun @ Homecoming--i will be listening to the game on the radio @ work.
